Police have issued a call for information on a major road crash near the Falls of Falloch which left two people with serious injuries.
The crash took place around 11.50am on Wednesday (August 5) involving a white Peugeot 3008 and a turquoise Toyota Yaris on the A82 between Crianlarich and Tarbet, near the well-used beauty spot.
Emergency services attended and the man and woman from one car were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
The man and woman from the second car were taken to the Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to what were described as serious injuries.
The road was closed while an investigation took place, before being re-opened to traffic around seven hours later.
Constable Gary Barkham said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone with dash cam footage or who may have seen either car prior to the crash to get in touch.”
