Paisley’s answer to the famous Mrs Hinch has been left blown away after getting a mention in her new book.
Mario McKnight, 36, who has become known as the Scottish male version of the famous ‘cleanfluencer’ was surprised to find he had been listed as one of Sophie Hincliffe’s favourite people to follow on Instagram.
Sophie, who shot to fame for her cleaning tips and now has over 3million followers, sent Mario – who lives in Paisley with his fiance Derek – a special signed copy of her new memoir This Is Me.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Mario said: “Oh my God, so I’m literally just about to head out for work but this has just came through my door, so thank you Sophie my darling! I’ve also ordered a copy I couldn’t not!
“But inside, this is so sweet! A wee note which says ‘Mario, you’re just amazing inside and out, thank you for always being true to yourself since day one. PS. turn to page 282, lots of love Soph.”
He then turns to the page to find his special mention in the book, which shot to number one when it was announced earlier this month.
Mario added: “It’s me! Thank you so much Sophie, I am so touched by this and so humbled. Love ya loads, Always here to the bitter end chanting you on.”
