Man left seriously injured after drunken rammy in Paisley pub

A man was left with a nasty cut on his head following a brawl in The Last Post in Paisley last night.

The man and two of his pals had been drinking in the busy High Street pub when an altercation took place between them and two other men.

A fight broke out in the busy pub around 7.20pm, resulting in two of the men being assaulted.

One man was left with a large laceration to his head and had to attend at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to get in touch if they have any information on the incident.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A group of three men were drinking within the Last Post in Paisley last night when they got involved in a fight with two other men.

“Two of the three men have been injured as a result of this, with one of the men suffering a laceration to his head.

“We would ask that anyone who may have seen this incident take place to please get in touch.”
