A man has been charged with attacking another man with a glass object on Paisley’s Well Street.
The incident is said to have taken place in the town around 4pm on Sunday.
It is alleged that a 38-year-old male caused significant injury to a 42-year-old, leading to his subsequent hospitalisation.
The pair are said to have got into an argument which has then developed into the accused lifting a glass object and allegedly assaulting the other man with it.
Police say the man has been left with scar damage as a result of the incident.
The accused was arrested and charged in connection with serious assault and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
