Two properties based in Scotland were among the top five most viewed on Rightmove over the festive period.
Data from the property website has revealed the most desirable properties that house hunters had their eyes on as a late Christmas gift.
The second most viewed home in the UK was a period property full of character in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
Balgonie House, which is sandwiched in-between the town centre and the Gleniffer Braes, is available to pick up for offers over £995,000.
The brickwork and classical features of the home give it a “sense of history and luxury”, Rightmove have said.

Visitors are greeted with a regal entrance and sitting room, and each apparently in this nine bedroom property has its own unique character.
The home has two acres of gardens and is behind a wall of grand trees, giving residents space and privacy.
Property hunters also had their eye on an idyllic cottage in Loch Lomond, which is available for offers over £300,000.

The remaining three top viewed homes in the UK were an An award-winning home in Lytham St Annes in Lancashire, a stylish pad in Sheffield and a modern masterpiece in Plymouth.
