Desperate search for Scots schoolboy who has not been seen for nearly a week

A desperate appeal has been launched for a missing Scots teenager who was last seen nearly a week ago.

Andrew Ellis, 15, was last seen on Sunday, March 28 in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

There has been non sign of the missing youngster since and police say they are getting ‘increasingly concerned’ for his wellbeing.

A description has been released and anyone with information is urged to contact police.

A statement issued today read: “Police are appealing to the public to help us trace Andrew Ellis, who is still missing from Paisley.

“Andrew is 15 years old, white, approx. 5’8” in height, slim build and was last seen wearing light grey Nike tracksuit bottoms, light trainers, dark blue Boss jumper and dark jacket.

“Andrew was last seen on Sunday 28th March 2021, and we are very concerned for his welfare.

“We are urging anyone who may have seen him or know of his whereabouts to contact us so we can ensure he is safe and well.

“Any information can be passed via 101, quoting incident 2730 of 28/03/2021.”
