A major investigation is underway after cops found a woman’s body in a Renfrew flat.
Cops raced to Cardon Square around 11.45pm last night after reports of a serious incident.
A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they are currently treating her death as “unexplained”.

Officers said a 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Renfrew attended at an address in Cardon Square around 11.45pm on Wednesday, 26 May.
“A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding her death, which is currently being treated as unexplained, are ongoing.”
