Families across Paisley will this afternoon be able to pay their respects to three youngsters who died in a house fire.
The final route of the funeral cortege for the Gibson children has been confirmed.
Fiona Gibson and siblings Alexander James and Philip lost their lives after their Renfrew Road home was engulfed by flames on June 26.
Cars carrying the children, aged 12, eight and five, will take in large parts of the town ahead of a private service this afternoon.
Their parents Alex Gibson and Julie Daley, who was also seriously injured in the fire, have asked all those who wish to pay their respects to line the route wearing bright clothing and to clap quietly as they pass.
The procession will begin in the Gallowhill community where the children lived.
It will enter Netherhill Road from the Renfrew Road slip, go down Gallowhill Road before turning left on to Marjory Drive and up Netherhill Road towards St Catherine’s Primary School, where the boys were pupils.
It will then turn back on to Renfrew Road and continue through the town centre.
The procession will make its way through Gallowhill between 12.45pm and 1pm.
The finalised route has been shared by Alex’s brother Iain Gibson, who also asked people lining the streets to continue to adhere to social distancing rules.
